OddFrog Purse

The OddFrog purse was a semester long project that involved both my major in Industrial Design but also my minor in Business Administration.

The inspiration came from browsing local retail stores and being underwhelmed by their purse sections. All the purses appeared to be made from the same five patterns, there was little variation.

After many customer interviews and market research I settled on the idea of a frog cross-body bag. The frog is made of soft plush fabric with a red silk inner lining. A metal zipper is placed where the mouth would be and the arms are attached to clips with D-rings, allowing for the strap to be easily switched out.
